Vivianne actually the moon is made of cheese, my grandma told me that and she was very old and wise and would never lie to me so it must be true. NOW let's answer your questions...

Yes I have watched documentaries, and entered in to debates when friends or work colleges have raised the subject.
Thirdly I guess because the subject intrigues me enough I have bought it to a discussion forum that i respect and admire.And believe me I was well aware I might find this subject confrontational and challenging. But I am glad I did because the opinions surprised being so evenly divided 50:50.

When I was a witness we always had elders that intimidated people by their use of words. Questions were not allowed, or the motives challenged. Sometimes I regret not allowing my quite voice be heard....Anyway now ." I AM AN UNEDUCATED EX-WITNESS" new on an ex jehovers witness forum, and GUESS WHO made me feel like I was talking with an elder again. ( well let's save our answers for another thread, got to stay on topic)

my statement " The moon landing is one of the greatest achievements in the history of mankind" Is a fact. My question " Am I right in thinking NASA lost the origional footage?" Was asked because I have watched a documentary on the moon landing that claimed the origional footage was lost. I therefore thought the question relevant to the debate.

A. The " moon landing" is one of the most significant achievements in the history of mankind. Am I right in thinking NASA lost the original raw footage?
B. Nowadays it seems everyone is talking about getting to Mars and making a base. I would have thought the logical option would be to go to the moon first, it is a lot closer, and from the moon onwards to Mars?

Truth seeker : I did not write " my education was from the university of life" as you quoted. I wrote in humor " my education was from the university of life . I failed :-)
And I totally agree with you there is no such thing as a stupid question. Maybe only badly understood questions? Anyway the answers exist, but the questions don't. I guess that's why I raised the debate....anyway I no longer believe God put dinosaurs here to test my faith. But I do believe it was possible to have faked the moon landing. And I do think I raised some good questions on this debate that haven't been answered,
